Barakkeh offers a platinum Nikah service which includes an all-in-one solution to make your Islamic Nikah ceremony legally recognized in the UK. In collaboration with our trusted mosque partner, we seamlessly combine your Islamic Nikah with a civil marriage, ensuring both ceremonies are conducted together. This convenient service eliminates the stress of having your civil marriage separately, while guaranteeing that your Islamic marriage is legally recognized under UK law.

The Process:

Set a date for your Nikah & contact us to book.
The couple must give notice of marriage to the registrar in the district(s) they live in. Some register offices have several weeks waiting time to book an appointment to give notice of marriage so please plan in advance.

Please note a statutory waiting period of 28 clear days must elapse after giving your notice, before you can conduct your Nikah. this is 70 days if one or both of you are subject to the Home office Referral & investigation scheme.
The couple need to contact Hounslow Registrar office and arrange a registrar to attend their marriage at the Mosque. Please ensure your date and time is confirmed

The registrar will arrive 30 minutes before the ceremony. The couple will be required to be interviewed separately prior to the ceremony. We therefore ask you to arrive 30 minutes early.

The Nikah will then be conducted and in addition the couple will be asked to say the statutory declarative and contractual vows. By saying these words, the ceremony becomes legally recognised in the UK.

Price for certificate: £12.50 each. They can order several copies and will be posted to the couple within 10 working days.
